Clinic for 7th and 8th graders

We will be offering a clinic to prepare all incoming 7th and 8th graders for junior high tryouts. Groups will be divided into:
Club players
Non-club players

$75.00 Clinic fee

13’s – 4 teams – 3 open positions
14’s – 2 teams – FULL
15’s – 2 teams – FULL
17’s – 1 team – 1 open positions (setter/right side)

$25.00 tryout fee

Make-up practices will be held on Friday, July 9th from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 5515 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581

How Do You Earn A Trip to the Junior Olympics? 2/20/2005

The ultimate goal for each team playing in the USAV Juniors division is to earn a spot in the Junior Olympic Girls Volleyball Championships. There are three Junior Olympic tournaments; Open, National and American. There are 27 Open slots. There are 48 slots in each of the American and National Club divisions. How do you earn a bid? You can win a spot in a National Qualifier. You can be given a spot by the USAV National Competition Committee. Or you can get a spot from your local Region.
